Ida Machining, Inc specialty fields.  By designing and patenting our orthotic products we were able to help treat children with clubfeet.  In addition to our Stance Control Orthotic Knee Joints, we are pleased to introduce our new innovative foot rotation bar. Orthotic Foot Rotation Bar: The foot rotation bar allows the feet to be internally or externally rotated. This bar was designed by Zane Wallace, Dale Hatton, and Gary Horton who understood there was a need for a more patient friendly / orthotist friendly device.  The Foot Rotation Bar is easier to fit on the child because you fit the shoes on independently then click them on the foot rotation bar.  his allows for better positioning of the foot in the shoe which reduces the child from being able to kick the shoes off. One of the many advantages of the Foot Rotation Bar is it is easier to dress the child.  With just a click you can easily remove the bar from the shoes, change the child, and click the shoes back on the bar.

The Foot Roation Bars come in two new click options.  The foot rotation bars are a thicker plastic and are ribbed to add strength.  Due to the increase thickness of the plate, the Markell screw will no longer work. Markell shoes are still recommended, but now when you order one of our orthotic foot rotation bars screws will be included to fit the new thicker plate.  Below is an example of how the new orthotic foot rotation bar is used.
